My Designing History

I'll try to make this as brief as possible. I became interested in graphics-making during my 9th grade year, in 2005, when my sister and I found Janime forum. So as most people probably did, I made some crappy banners and avatars for those unfortunate people who requested signature sets. At the time, I was using Ulead Photo 2.0, which was a cheap program that came with my scanner. It just did enough to literally image-edit, hence no brushing or textures or patterns or nits, haha. Then I think about a year later or so, I finally downloaded GIMP, which I used for a period of time. I got a little better, you know, since I worked with a better image editting program anyhow.

So, I actually opened my first graphics site AFTER getting Photoshop 7.0 in January 2007. Interesting, ne? My first site was born at the end of February in that same year, and it was called Tian Zhen Chun Jie (Chinese pinyin), translated as "Innocent & Pure" in English. I made a lot of Asian graphics, some of which were kept and saved in the "Archived Collections" page here. It was hosted by Crescent Dreams for about 3 months or so, I believe. Then after Crescent Dreams closed off all of its hosting suddenly, I kind of took a break, othewise known as "designer's block," lol. I did try to get my @$$ going with a new graphics site Shipuh - hosted by Synthoxide - but I closed it shortly after due to inactivity.

*ahem* And then, whadaya know? September 22 2007, Edeluxe arose (haha, I sound like a priestess or something like that). This time, I truly truly intend to keep this site going as long as I am alive. Count on it! x33

So now I'm gonna show you the brilliant awful graphics I used to make, mwahaha *gets stabbed* XD In no particular order, most were made using GIMP.
